Official Rules for 
“The World's Best Pet Is Mine!” Contest

How to enter: No purchase necessary to enter or win “The World's Best Pet Is Mine!” contest. Beginning January 4^th, 2010 (12:00 a.m. EST) and ending January 29^th, 2010 (11:59 p.m. EST), email a photo (in JPEG format and no larger than 2MB) of your pet to minethemovie@filmmovement.com, along with a maximum of One Hundred (100) word essay (the “Essay”) describing why, in your opinion, your pet is the world’s best. Please also include your pet’s name, your name, complete mailing address, e-mail address, and telephone number.

Entries submitted before January 4^th or after January 29th will not be considered. By participating in the contest, entrants certify that his/her entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, and does not contain any material that would violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrights, and trademarks. Film Movement, LLC, (“Film Movement”), the distributor of the film Mine (the “Film”), reserves the right as its sole and unfettered discretion to disqualify any entry it believes contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these official rules, or that is not consistent with the theme of the contest.  By submitting a photo, entrants agree that their photo may be used for publicity and marketing purposes and consent to such use without any payment of any payment of any kind. The decision of Film Movement and the Judges is final and binding on all matters relating to the “The Worlds Best Pet Is Mine!” contest.

Voting and Winners: Beginning February 1^st, 2010 (12:00 a.m. EST) and ending February 7^th, 2010 (11:59 p.m. EST), people can log on to Mine-The-Movie.blogspot.com and vote for their favorite entries. Only one vote per email address. The eleven (11) entries receiving the highest number of votes (the semi finalists) will be personally notified via phone and/or e-mail, and publicly announced on the blogspot, on February 12^th, 2010.

The semi finalists will then be eligible to receive The Grand Prize. This will be selected by a panel of judges (the “Judges”), consisting of Geralyn Pezanoski, the Director of the Film, and Adley Gartenstein, the President of Film Movement, in their sole discretion. The Grand Prize winner will be personally notified via phone and/or e-mail, and publicly announced on the blogspot, on February 22nd, 2010.

Prizes and Approximate Values:  There will be one (1) Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive:  1. A $100 iTunes gift card; 2. An exclusive director-signed copy of MINE on DVD and a MINE poster;  3. A gift basket full of treats for you and your pet; and 4. the opportunity to have your pet's picture published on the MINE BlogSpot and in Film Movement's monthly newsletter. The combined value is approximately $250.

 The ten (10) Semi Finalists Prize winners will each receive:  1. An exclusive director-signed copy of MINE on DVD and a MINE poster; 2. A $20 iTunes gift card; and 3. The opportunity to have your pet's picture published on the MINE BlogSpot and in Film Movement's monthly newsletter.

  Entries: Limit one (1) entry submission per pet.  Film Movement is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, incomplete, or inaccurate entries.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are ages 18 years or older.  Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.  Employees of Film Movement, participating advertising and promotion and pr agencies, and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/ or those living in the same household of each such employee) are not eligible.

   Other Conditions: Expenses not specifically included in prize description and all taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  No transfer, assignment, or substitution of a prize permitted.  All federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Film Movement, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this contest. Acceptance of the prizes constitutes permission for Film Movement and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likeness, pet’s names and/or likeness, the Essays. the submitted  biographical material, and/or entry for advertising and promotional (public relations/publicity) purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.  In addition, the winners name and pets name and Essay and story can be used for publicity purposes (specifically included, but not limited to, in press releases and distributed to the media and posted on www.FilmMovement.com). By accepting prize(s), the winners agree to hold Film Movement, its advertising and promotion agencies (marketing / publicity) and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
